THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE LUCK
MEET THE LUCKY SPUR TEAM
Â
LUCKY SPUR WASN'T BUILT ON A GAMBLE. IT WAS BUILT ON EXPERIENCE.
Â
For the people behind Lucky Spur Arena & Stables, horses have been a way of life for more than 20 years.
Our team brings together decades of experience in horse care, training, competition, construction, farm life, property management, and everything that comes with building a life around horses.
Â
Before Lucky Spur, Natasha and Jake owned and operated their own small training facility near Three Hills, Alberta, gaining firsthand experience in the day-to-day realities of caring for horses and running a horse facility.
Â
Natasha brings her background in riding and competition, with a particular passion for barrel racing, young horses, and putting premium horse care at the forefront of her program.
Â
Cody brings more than two decades of experience in construction, heavy equipment, farm maintenance, and property care, along with a lifetime spent around horses and farm life. Cassandra brings her growing experience in the horse community and barrel racing, along with a deeply held belief that every horse deserves patience, kindness, respect, and an individual approach.
Â
Together, we've brought those different experiences to Springbank to build something a little different.
A premium horse facility.
Â
A place to ride hard.
A place to raise good horses.
A place to feel at home.
Â
Lucky Spur is more than a barn. It's a home, a community, and a place built around the belief that when it comes to horses, good care is never something you gamble on.
GO ALL IN.

BUILD IT RIGHT. THEN MAKE IT BETTER.
Â
Jake brings a different kind of experience to
Lucky Spur.
Â
With years of experience in construction and design, he's been deeply involved in transforming the property and bringing the Lucky Spur vision to life.
Â
With help from his family business, Jake has been completing renovations and improvements throughout the facility, turning an idea into a physical space that works for horses, riders, and the people who call the barn home.
Â
From the big-picture design to the details that make a facility functional, Jake has had a hand in building Lucky Spur from the ground up.
HORSES FIRST. ALWAYS.
Â
Natasha has been riding and competing from a young age, exploring everything from jumping and team penning to barrel racing.
Â
Today, she's an active competitor on the local barrel racing circuit and continues to pursue the sport she loves while developing young and talented horses.
Â
But competition is only one part of her program.
For Natasha, premium horse care has always been at the forefront.
She believes good horsemanship starts long before you enter the arena. It lives in the everyday details: knowing your horse, paying attention to the little things, creating good routines, and giving horses the care and environment they need to thrive.
Â
That philosophy is a huge part of what Lucky Spur Arena is built around.

THE WORK BEHIND THE SCENES.
Â
Cody brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in construction, heavy equipment, farm maintenance, and property care to Lucky Spur Arena.
Â
Growing up on a farm, Cody learned early that looking after a property is a hands-on job. From maintaining grounds and operating equipment to handling the countless daily responsibilities that come with farm life, he developed a strong work ethic and a practical understanding of what it takes to keep a large property safe, functional, and well cared for.
Â
Horses have also been an important part of Cody's life from the beginning. Growing up around horses taught him that their well-being is found in the details: maintaining a safe environment, keeping their surroundings in good condition, and showing up every day to do the work.
Today, Cody brings that same mindset to Lucky Spur.
Whether it's maintaining the grounds, tackling facility repairs, operating equipment, or keeping the infrastructure running smoothly, Cody takes pride in doing the job right.

A KIND HAND. A PATIENT APPROACH.
A HORSE-FIRST PHILOSOPHY.
Â
Over the past several years, Cassandra has become deeply involved in the horse community, growing her experience and passion for the sport of barrel racing along the way.
Her approach to horses is simple: every horse is an individual, and every horse deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, and respect.
Â
Cassandra believes that good horsemanship begins with trust. Building a relationship where a horse feels safe, understood, and valued is at the heart of everything she does.
Â
For Cassandra, horses have become much more than a passion or a sport. They are a way of life.
She is proud to bring her passion, care, and horse-first philosophy to Lucky Spur Arena, helping create a barn environment where both horses and riders feel welcome, supported, and at home.
